About Sterling Security
Sterling Security is a developing security technology business focused on accessible, modern protection for homes and the people in them.
What we do
We design and build our own security hardware — wireless door and window sensors, alarm control panels and smart-home security controllers — along with the software that connects those devices to the people who rely on them.
Building the hardware ourselves means we understand every layer of the system, from the circuit board and firmware to the account dashboard. It also lets us make careful decisions about what data a device collects and where it goes.
Where we are today
Sterling Security is early in its journey. Our products are in development, and we're honest about that: every product page shows whether something is in development, coming soon or available, and we only list capabilities we have actually built.
Sterling Lake
Sterling Lake is a project within Sterling Security. It applies our connected-device work to water monitoring, environmental data collection and lake mapping, and invites waterfront property owners to host monitoring equipment.
