Overview
Our door and window sensors are being designed from the circuit board up by Sterling Security. Each sensor is intended to detect when a door or window opens or closes and report that change to a Sterling Security control panel.
Design goals
- Small enclosure that fits standard door and window frames
- Long battery life with low-battery reporting
- Tamper detection on the enclosure
- Encrypted wireless communication with the control panel
- Simple pairing during setup
